# Lessons learned from Stankins  YAML

The bad(and solutions)

Long time to run - Make a small job to test and variables to run only this ( spaces anyone ?)
</p><p class="small">
Variables not work always -  declare in powershell
</p><p class="small">
Syntax is sometimes unpolished (task.setvariable variable=PWversion;isOutput=true) 
</p><p class="small">
Versions for same task ( AndroidSigning@2 vs AndroidSigning@3) -read docs
</p><p class="small">
Small inconveniences ( hidden variables , files ,robocopy, npm ...)
</p>

The normal

Need for external tools( version: delay, dotnetproperty vs json, codecoverage,electron...)
</p>

The good
<p class="small">
